not as long as you keep to the same spec whethere= it's semi synthetic of fully, just stick to the correct viscosity eg 10W 40 etc..

Modern oils can all be intermixed. Does NOT matter what brand or whether it's conventional/semi/full synthetic oil.

No but if you change to full synthtic, like Mobil One you can't go back to regular.
in the old days they didn't recommend changing brands of oil but in todays engines it won't hurt them one bit.
no..just stick with the same weight.
