Have you heard of those situations where people stranded in the desert die from drinking motor oil?

I know it sounds crazy and you might say ';I would NEVER drink that





In this case, why would they drink motor oil knowing that it will kill them?Have you heard of those situations where people stranded in the desert die from drinking motor oil?
my grandfather drank water he knew would give him malaria in vietnam because he was so thirsty, then all his teeth cracked and fell out a few days later because of some sort of weird bacteria thats in all the water down there they never told him about.Have you heard of those situations where people stranded in the desert die from drinking motor oil?
there's not even a puddle of water in the desert, but there's a can of motor oil kicking around? did i miss something?





eat a cactus, it's full of water. or as suggested above, drink pee.
I guess it's because they get to choose how they die, instead of God.

That's absurd! People wouldn't drink motor oil,when they can drink their own urine to survive in the desert.
maybe they were so thirsty any liquid would do for now. It's like some people who are stranded, drink the ocean water since they feel less thirsty after they drink it, but later die from dehydration from all the salt in the water.

nope i havent! but i have heard the stories of ppl getting stranded n then they get supr crazy and freak out... so maybe thats y some1 would drink the motor oil! lol :)
I see, they are trying to kill themselves. I would never kill myself if I was in a situation like that. I would survive whatever I had to do.

they say that safest thing to drink if you're stranded on an island would be your pee. I know it sound wrong but they say salt water will kill you ad ice water will freeze you inside out but your pee is actually purified and sterile so that would be the safest thing to drink.
